A fresh and humorous take on the classic British legend of King Arthur. A young and hapless Arthur longs to escape the prison of a low status life. As long as he is not considered ‘noble’ he cannot marry his true love, Guinevere. Then one day, the lady of the lake appears to him, and tells him that if he rescues Excalibur from the lake, he can take on the quest of finding the Holy Grail, becoming a king. The dastardly Morgana finds out of this plan, and uses her evil son Lawrence to defeat Arthur, ensuring she finds the grail and guaranteeing her immorality. Arthur, accompanied by a time travelling Wizard Merlin, and the hopeless pages Simmer & Boil, overcome every obstacle thrown in their way to defeat Morgana and win the day. A fun, joke filled Pantomime, encompassing all the classic elements of Panto. Plenty of scope for music and laughs (as well as a hilarious Dame Bisto) we know this is the show for you
